Instructions

    • 1

Exfoliate with either an exfoliating body wash or a pumice stone. By exfoliating, you are actually removing dead skin, and thus removing the top layer of your tanning lotion. Rub gently to prevent any irritation.

    • 2

Scrub your skin with baking soda. This is a great way of removing spots or small patches of sunless tanning lotion. Wet the skin and massage a small amount of baking soda over the spot. Rinse off the baking soda scrub and pat dry.

Give it time. If you find that these other methods are too irritating on your skin, wait a few days for the tan to fade. Wash and exfoliate frequently. If the streak is on your leg, wear pants, if it's on your arms, wear a cute jacket or disguise with some make-up concealer. There are ways to disguise a bad sunless tan while waiting for it to fade.

Tips & Warnings

  • Avoid exercise or heavy physical activity after applying sunless tanning lotion as sweating may cause it to streak.
