Things You'll Need:
- knife
- Empty plastic bottle container
- Rocks
- plant
- soil

Step 1
Gather several empty water bottles. Remove the bottle label. Cut the bottom out of the containers. Punch small whole near the mouth of the container. Leave the bottle cap in place.

In the empty water bottles place a few small rocks for drainage.
Add at least a cup of soil lightly packed. Add seeds or plant and cover with more soil. Water to test drainage before planting into the garden dirt. -
Step 3
Dig a row in the garden placing the bottles a foot apart. Place the bottle container half in the dirt. A large container pot can be use to hold the bottle containers. Fill a large container with sand or soil and place the ready fill bottle containers in the sand or soil. Using the same technique you can use large soda bottle container as a hanging planters. Cut holes in the container to support the strings. Three pieces of strings are needed. Add strong cording strings and a hook for hanging.
