You may be wondering why on earth anyone would ever bleach their eyebrows.

Well, there are a few reasons. The most obvious being if you lighten your hair. Having pale blonde or red hair with black eyebrows may be a good look for some, but many of us would rather fake the appearance of being "natural".

So, keep your secret and bleach those eyebrows. I promise you won't regret it.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • cream facial hair bleach
  1. Step 1

Read all of the instructions and warnings for the cream bleach that you buy. The instructions will tell you to perform an allergy test. Do that 24 hours before you plan to dye your eyebrows. Don't skip this step, you don't want to have a severe reaction on your face, especially so close to your eyes.

  2. Step 2

Wash your face with soap and cold water or a mild cleanser and then pat dry. Do not scrub your face before hand, and make sure that the room isn't steamy at all. Hot water or steam will cause the pores on your face to open, and make irritation much more likely.

  3. Step 3

Mix the bleach according to package directions and apply to each eyebrow, covering the hair completely. Be very careful to keep it out of your eyes. If you do get some bleach in your eyes, flush them immediately with lots of cold water.

  4. Step 4

Wait for the bleach to work. It's usually about 10 minutes, but follow the directions.

  5. Step 5

Remove the bleach and rinse lightly with cold water and pat dry. Give yourself a day to get used to it because it can make a huge difference.
