Recycle your old denim jeans! Make refridgerator magnets that are useful!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Denim Jean Pockets From Old Jeans
  • Fabric Paint
  • Lace Trim
  • Ribbon Flower (These are optional)
  • Fridge Magnets
  • Hot Glue or Craft Glue
  1. Step 1

Neatly, cut out the pockets from a pair of old denim jeans. Cut the pocket so the backside is still attached to the front of the pocket.

  2. Step 2

If you want to add lace to the pocket, start on the backside, glue the lace on, and end the other side of the lace by gluing the end to the back side also. If you want, you can also add ribbons and flowers to the pocket.

  3. Step 3

Using the fabric paint, write or design anything you would like to be on the pocket. "Pocket Change" is a great name for the pocket. You may also consider writing "Notes" or "Coupons" on the front of the pocket. Be creative!

  4. Step 4

Glue on magnets to the back of the pocket. Your pocket is now ready for the fridge. Great idea for school lockers! This craft is also wonderful for children to do!
