Secretly Be a Cheap Date
Secretly Be a Cheap Date

Are you on a tight budget? Here's a way to have a good time and "wow" your date without breaking your bank.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Before you go on your date, MAKE A PLAN. Research nice, but affordable restaurants that have a food and drink menu within your budget.

  2. Step 2

Consider having an early dinner. Perhaps, during the restaurant's happy hour. This way, you can get more drink for your buck! :)

  3. Step 3

View the newspaper or internet for dollar movie listings. During your dinner date have a movie conversation and suggest or talk about movies that you secretly know are showing at the dollar theaters. This keeps you from looking cheap by not straight out suggesting, "Let's go to the dollar movie."

  4. Step 4

Or, suggest a nice walk through the park or stroll through the beach. Women are "awwed" by this. This option will give you more one on one time with your date and you get to know them a little more. You get to show your romantic and sensitive side. This way, you keep it cheap and score some points!!

  5. Step 5

If you are more the "outdoors" type, take your date to the zoo. Then, plan a nature walk and find a cozy spot to have a picnic in the park. P.S. Bring a blanket and a bottle of wine.
