Fossil manufactures different types of metal bands, but the process of removing the pins is the same for all types of Fossil bands. Removing the pins from a Fossil watch is a simple process that allows you to resize the watchband by removing or adding links.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

Look on the inside of the band near the clasp. You will see two arrows. Turn the band on its side and you will see two holes.

  2. Step 2

Put the pointed end of the pushpin into the hole on the edge of the band on the side close to the base of the arrow.

  3. Step 3

Use a hammer on the plastic flat end of the pushpin to push out the watch pin in the direction the arrow is pointing. You may need to use force because the pins are securely put into the watch.

  4. Step 4

Use pliers to pull the pin completely out once the hammer has pushed the pin out a little. It is very important to pull the pin straight out. You will need to use that pin again to secure the band, so it cannot be bent.

  5. Step 5

Repeat this process on the second pin if you need to remove or add a link.
