First, you should appoint a person well in advance to handle these kinds of family issues. A son, daughter, or close friend would be the best choice when arrangements of this nature must be made. Make sure this person has all information relating to Insurance, Church of Worship, and appropriate list of contacts when the death occurs. Insurance companies normally respond to a family death within 48 hours. Which gives the family time to grieve and focus on the loss of a family member. The spokesperson should contact the local newspaper to give an account of how the obitiuary is to appear.
