Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • brick

  1. Step 1

If you have some bricks laying around that you used for another project you can use them. No bricks around go to your local hardware store and buy some decorative bricks. They come in different colors red, or "Old Brick" which is a combination red, white and black colors. While your buying your bricks pick up some mortar mix and your trowel tool. Get a bag of wood chips to put around plant the flowers in the flower bed.

  2. Step 2

Arrange the bricks in a circle or square around a tree. If planting in front of your home make it a long rectangular flower bed.

  3. Step 3

Mix the mortar going by the directions on the bag. Usually it is mixed with plain tap water from the garden hose. After it is mixed well put some on the top of a brick. Then put another brick on top stack bricks up at least 4 high and continue to the next until your flower bed brick planter is done.
