Instructions

  1. How to Make Christian Invitations

    • 1

Search for free Christian clipart (see Resource) and browse the many symbols. When you want to save one to use on your invites, right-click on the picture with your mouse. Click on "save picture as" and save the picture on your computer hard drive or disk.

    • 2

Open a word document application on your computer. Set the font style, size, and color you would like for your invitations.

    • 3

Type in the information required for your invitation. Most invites will include the location of the event, the date and time. Some invites also provide an RSVP number for guests to contact.

    • 4

When you are ready to add the christian symbol, place your cursor on the location of your word document and click once to get the cursor. Click on "insert" at the top of the page. Scroll down until you get to "picture" then click on "file." Find the symbol you previously saved. Click on it once, then click open. The symbol should show up on your word document.

    • 5

You may also choose to include a quote from the Bible and place it at the end of the invitation.

    • 6

Make sure the text is centered. Complete a spellcheck and check for errors in information.

    • 7

Place blank cards in the printer. Print out a test run to see if any adjustments need to be made. When you are satisfied with the invite, print out as many as you need.

Tips & Warnings

  • Do not click on the symbol to make the picture bigger on the website. If you save it while the image is blown up, the picture will be too large on your invitation.
