How to Download Microsoft Publisher

Microsoft Publisher is a desktop publishing program that is included with the Small Business, Professional and Ultimate licensed versions of Microsoft Office (Windows only). You can also purchase the product separately from the Office product suite and download Publisher to your computer directly from the Microsoft online store. With Publisher, you can create high-quality publications for print or websites. Publisher's library of templates makes designing your publication as easy as pointing and clicking.

Instructions

1. Navigate with your Web browser to the Microsoft Publisher purchase page (see Resources).

2. 

   Click the "Buy Now" button to add the product to your shopping cart.

3. 

   Select the "License Lock Box" option for your product. This is optional, but provides a software backup in case you ever need to reinstall Publisher. Click "Continue" and follow the prompts to check out and purchase your software.

4. Click the download link on the order confirmation page or in the email confirmation message to download the Microsoft Publisher installer. The order confirmation screen and email message will also contain your license number. Keep this number in a safe place.
