How to Make Arm Warmers

Love running when it's a bit chilly? Whether you are a runner or just in the mood to switch up your style, personally made arm warmers are the way to go. This cheap and easy style and exercise tip will keep you both warm and fashion forward. Does this Spark an idea?

  • Tube socks
  • Scissors
  • Washable marker

Instructions

    • 1

      Purchase a pair of tube socks at Target or a similar store.

    • 2

      Remove tube socks from package. Place your hand in the tube sock opening and pull the tube sock all the way up your arm.

    • 3

      Once the tube sock is all the way to your shoulder, take your marker and make a line by your wrist.

    • 4

      Remove tube sock from your arm.

    • 5

      Cut the tube sock where you made the marker line. You now have arm warmers that allow you to move your hands freely.

Tips & Warnings

  • Since tube socks are relatively inexpensive, you can feel free to throw them away in the midst of a race.

  • Do not cut tube socks while still on your arm.
