Toile is an ornate fabric pattern depicting flowers, scrolls and outdoor French country scenes. Pink toile is available in a range of products for the bathroom, including shower curtains, window coverings, wastebaskets, hampers, towels, wallpaper, soap dispensers and tissue box holders. Pink toile is a versatile fabric and can lend itself to a variety of styles, including French country, shabby chic and colonial.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Know your design style. Before you begin to decorate with pink toile, you should have a design style in mind. Think about whether you want your bathroom to be formal or casual, modern or traditional. If you are working with your existing bathroom fixtures, stick to that style and design your pink toile bathroom around them.

  2. Step 2

Choose a color scheme. While a consistent pink and white will make your bathroom look fresh, combining pink with a darker color such as black or chocolate brown will create a modern feel. If you want your pink toile bathroom to feel casual, pair the toile with lime green, yellow or purple accessories.

  3. Step 3

Decide where to add the pink toile. Too much toile can be overwhelming in small spaces such as bathrooms. Stick to toile fabric in one or two places and choose complementary colors for the rest of your accessories. Some tasteful pairings would include a pink toile shower curtain paired with either pink toile window coverings or hand towels edged with matching toile. If you choose pink toile wallpaper, consider using only solid-colored linens in the rest of the bathroom so that it doesn't look too busy.

  4. Step 4

Add other fabric patterns. If you want a casual or modern bathroom, pair pink toile with other patterns such as polka dots, stripes or plaid. If you do choose to add other fabric patterns to your pink toile bathroom, choose coordinating colors such as yellow, salmon, mint green, light blue, navy blue, white, cream and tan.
