Instructions

  1. Getting started

    • 1

Open up your CD burner program, and transfer the desired files onto the blank CD, either by copying or by dragging and dropping them onto the blank CD icon. How this works will vary slightly, depending on your burner.

    • 2

At this point, the files have not actually been burned onto the disc. You will need to hit "Burn," "Write," or "Record"--again, the exact term depends on what burner you are using--in order to actually write the file onto your blank disc.

    • 3

When burning is complete, your burner will prompt you to ask whether you want to finalize the disc so that it is write protected. Select "Yes."

    • 4

When the disc is finalized, it will either self-eject or you can eject it manually. Don't forget to label the disc.
