If this is OK with you, visit sites such as blogger.com and livejournal.com, and decide which interface is a better fit with your blog needs.

Choose a name for your blog. This will also be incorporated into your personal URL, so choose wisely. For instance, if you'll be blogging about underwater basket weaving, don't choose a name like MaryQ. That won't tell the reader anything about the subject of your blog. Instead, choose something like underwaterbasketweaving. Because the site owns your blog, your blog name will be a subdomain of its site. Your blog's URL, therefore, will be called www.underwaterbasketweaving.blogspot.com.

Choose a template for your free blog website. Free blogging sites offer a variety of different templates. You should choose one that fits well with your topic or personality.
