How to Dress Like Celebrities
You may think it is hard to dress like a celebrity, but it's not as hard as you would think. You will not go broke while buying the pieces because it is more important how you layer and accessorize your outfit than the actual pieces. You do need a few designer pieces to start with, especially so you can make several outfits from them. Does this Spark an idea?

Add more accessories to your outfit than you normally would and you will be on your way to dressing like a star. Experiment with wearing longer, dangly earrings like Gwyneth Paltrow does, or try wearing shiny metallic silver sandals with a higher heel than usual. You can find fun accessories, such as earrings, belts and chunky necklaces at New York and Co., Claire's and The Limited. Depending on what kind of shoes you prefer, you can find strappy sandals at Macy's, Lord and Taylor, Famous Footwear, and DSW Warehouse.

Try to score a similar version to the star's latest handbags from accessory companies Hype and Besso, who design purses similar to what the stars carry for less than $200 a purse. You can keep up on the latest fashion trends by combing through fashion magazines such as "In Style" or "Glamour."

Try adding layers with a simple jacket or cardigan over your dress or neutral colored outfit. Adding a silver or gold colored cardigan jazzes up the ensemble and will allow you to stand out from the crowd.

4
Coordinate and contrast different designers in one outfit. Consider wearing Seven jeans with a Donna Karan top and a Coach bag for a complete look. You can shop for more expensive pieces at outlet shops or on eBay.

Make sure the clothes fit you right. The tailored look is classic and looks good on every one, as opposed to the baggy or the skintight ensembles. If your clothes need to be adjusted, take them to a local seamstress, and have her take them in so they accent your curves and fit you perfectly.
