How to Make an Animated Movie on Windows Movie Maker
If you are trying to create an animated movie, you know that the software for doing so can often be very expensive. You then have to shell out even more money for video editing software so that you can assemble your animation. But there is a way to avoid this last expense. If you are using Windows, then Windows Movie Maker should have come installed on your system. As you will learn, Windows Movie Maker is fully capable of bringing all your animation and sound files to together into a finished product.

Save the animation files rendered by your animation software to a single folder. Use a file-naming system in which you first give a number to the file and then give an abbreviated description of the file, such as "14 character running."

Save your audio files, such as voice dubbing for characters and sound effects, to the same folder.

Open Windows Movie Maker. If it's already open, go to the File menu and click "New Project."

Go to Movie Tasks and click on "Import Video." Then browse to the folder you saved to, and click on the video files you want to import, holding down the "Ctrl" key to select more than one. Click "OK", and these files appear in the Collections area.

Go to Movie Tasks and click on "Import Audio," bringing the audio into the Collections area just as you did with the video files.

Drag your video and audio clips down into place in the "Timeline," syncing the audio dubbing with the video. Use the "Trim" tool to get a perfect fit. Just above Collections, you can click to add any transitions or effects you want.

Go to the File menu and click "Save Movie." Use the "Save Movie Wizard" to save the movie in the size, resolution and format you need.
