How to Remove Glue From Wallpaper
Removing wallpaper is a tedious chore, but it's a lot less tedious than removing the glue it leaves behind. This glue does a fantastic job at adhering to the wall. Although removing this stubborn glue may seem like a daunting task, it is easier to accomplish with the right materials. Mix a solution of equal parts fabric softener and warm water in a spray bottle.

Saturate the glued are with the solution. If the area is large, it may be easiest to take on one area at a time.

Allow the solution to sit on the glue for at least 5 minutes.

Spray the next area so it can begin soaking. Gently scrape the softened glue from the wall with a plastic scraper.

Continue this method of spraying, soaking and scraping until all of the glue is gone.

Tips & Warnings
Hot water and vinegar, and Dawn dish soap and warm water are both equally effective in removing wallpaper glue.
