How to Make Scar Cream
There are several natural herbs that can be used to create a cream to heal and fade scars. The carbon dioxide herbal extracts used in this scar cream recipe are made by a distillation process. They are known for being much more potent than regular herb essential oils, and contain more of the properties of a particular herb. Thus, the CO2 of various herbs are highly concentrated and extremely powerful oils, waxes and creams that are used in skincare products to help repair and heal damaged skin cells.

1
Purchase the carbon dioxide herbal extracts and rose hips seed oil from a makeup wholesaler or a local organic foods store. You can also purchase them online. Check Resources below for a direct link.
-
2
Combine four drops of the German chamomile CO2 select, three drops of the calendula CO2 select, and three drops of the helichrysum CO2 select in the small bottle, and store in a cool dry place for about a week. These herbal extracts must be given time to blend together so that their full scar-healing potency can be achieved. German chamomile, calendula and helichrysum are known for their anti-inflammatory, skin cell regenerating and general scar-healing properties. Note: CO2 select is a more liquid consistency of the extracts; CO2 total is generally more waxy or creamy.
