How to Clean a Weber Gas Grill
Weber gas grills must be cleaned periodically to remove grease and residue that accumulate during the barbecue season. Disconnect the propane tank and make sure all of the control switches are turned off. It is best to completely remove the propane tank and set it aside while cleaning your Weber gas grill.

Mix warm water and a gentle soap in a bucket. Liquid dishwashing soap works well for grill cleaning, because it can cut through the grease. Do not use harsh chemical cleaners, as they may damage your grill's finish.

Take the racks and drip guard off the grill and let them soak in the soapy water. Leave them in there for 30 to 60 minutes, depending on the amount of grease that has accumulated on the metal.

Remove the grill's burners according to the owner's manual. Wipe them down with a gentle cloth soaked in clean, soapy water. Wipe any built-up grease from the burners and reinstall them in the grill.

Use a grill brush or spatula to scrape off the built-up grease on the inside walls of the grill. You can use a wet-dry vacuum to clear out the resulting debris, if necessary.

Wipe down the entire grill, rack and drip guard with a dry cloth. If there is still any grease residue stuck on the metal, use a metal grill brush to scrape it off.
