How to Make Greenhouse Dirt
When growing plants in a greenhouse, it is important to use lightweight soil that retains moisture without becoming water logged. Although you can buy potting mixtures at nurseries, you can easily make your own greenhouse dirt. The advantage of mixing your own soil is that you can alter the ratio to meet the needs of your plants. You can also easily increase your soil's water-retaining properties if your seedlings are drying out too quickly. Does this Spark an idea?
