When you send an email from your BlackBerry, it is always followed by a little automated signature that states "Sent from my (carrier) BlackBerry." The phone doesn't automatically have an option for getting rid of this option, but by using the BlackBerry online service, you can change your signature to whatever you want, and finally get rid of this annoying message.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Boot up your computer and go to the BlackBerry Internet Service website (see Resources). Log in using your BlackBerry ID. If you have never used this service before, create an account by following the link at the top of the page.

  2. Step 2

Find the "Email settings" tab and scroll down until you see the "Auto Signature" area. There will be a text box that says "Sent from my (carrier) BlackBerry." Delete this text and type in what you want your signature to say.
If you do not want a signature, you can also leave this box blank.

  3. Step 3

Save your changes by pressing the "Save" button at the bottom of the page. Once your changes have been saved you will be redirected to your front page. From here you can log out. After a few minutes that changes will be reflected in any outgoing emails.

Tips & Warnings
  • You cannot have dynamic signatures that vary by recipient, so try having something simple like your name or initials as your signature.
