How to Read a Masonic Bible Online

A Masonic Bible is any Bible that is used in a Masonic lodge. It may contain footnotes related to Masonic degrees and rituals or have a pages dedicated to a Mason or to Masonic records, but it can be any version of the Bible. Most Masonic Bibles are the King James version of the Bible.

Instructions

    Read A Masonic Bible Online

  1. Step 1

    Read the King James version of the Bible (see link in Resources). This version of the Bible is the one most commonly used by the Masons.

  2. Step 2

    Review the Bible verses closely associated with the Masonic degrees (see link in Resources).

  3. Step 3

    Look at "Morals and Dogma" by Albert Pike (see link in Resources). Though for many years this text has been called "The Bible of Freemasonry," it hasn't been used since 1974. Most modern-day Masons have never heard of it.

Tips & Warnings
  • Masons may be of any religion, so there are also Masonic Torahs and Korans, for example.
