Dust can seep into a CD player. This may cause a malfunction in playing or other options. In addition, your CDs will become dirty as well as possibly scratched because of the dirt. It is important to keep your CD player dust and dirt free. You can accomplish this by cleaning your CD player at least once a week for maximum performance. Dust can clog the vents and overheat the player. If this happens, you may need to replace or fix the machine.
