How to Create Cell Phone Charms

Cell phone charms are very popular among the younger generation of cell phone users. There is an endless variety of cell phone charms available for purchase, and you will often see these cute charms dangling from the cell phones of teenagers as they use their phones. Learn how to create cell phone charms and then see how fun and interesting it can be to create new and different charms to keep and give away to friends.

Things You'll Need

• 1 head pin
• 2 spacer beads (3 mm)
• 2 accent beads (2-3 mm)
• 1 lampwork bead
• Wire cutters
• Round nose pliers
• 1 cell phone lariat

Instructions

1. Place an accent bead and a spacer bead onto the headpin.

2. Add the lampwork bead to the headpin, and then add another spacer bead and a final accent bead.

3. Use the wire cutters to trim the headpin above the final accent bead to leave 1/2 inch of headpin wire.

4. Use the round nose pliers to form a loop with the remaining headpin wire above the final accent bead. Adjust the loop with the pliers so that it is centered above the beads and looks neat.

5. Attach the loop made in Step 4 to the keyring loop in the cell phone lariat using the round nose pliers.

6. Attach the cell phone lariat to the cell phone.
