Things You'll Need:
- 2 Pieces of Plexiglass
- Saw
- Clamps
- Ruler
- Marker
- Drill
- Spray adhesive
- Bolt
- Nut
- Wire
-
Step 1
Take two pieces of Plexiglass and cut them to be at least two inches larger than the size of your picture on all four sides. Make sure both pieces of Plexiglass are the same size. They can be cut larger than two inches on each side if you want a larger frame.
-
Step 2
Clamp the pieces together to hold them study and measure down an inch from each corner, and over an inch from each corner. Connect these marks so you have created a one inch square in each corner.
-
Step 3
Drill a hole the size of the bolt you would like to use to hold the frame together in the middle of the square on each of the four corners.
-
Step 4
Measure the center of the piece of Plexiglass that will be on the back side of the frame. Mark the center, and mark the center of the picture you're framing.
-
Step 5
Cover the back of your picture by using spray adhesive. Center it with the center mark on the Plexi glass and press it down. Smooth the picture out flat and let it dry.
-
Step 6
Place the front piece of Plexiglass on top of the bottom piece, and insert a bolt in each hole you drilled. Attach a nut on the back side to secure the Plexiglass in place.
-
Step 7
Wrap a large piece of wire are the two top bolts on the back side to connect them. Leave enough wire in the middle so you can hang the picture frame from a hook or nail in the wall.
