How to Identify an Ambien CR Tablet

Ambien CR is a drug that is used as a sleep aid. If, for some reason, you think you have found an Ambien CR tablet and would like to identify it, there is a website available that will assist in identifying prescription drugs.

      Point your web browser to the Drugs.com website (see the link below in the Resources section). This site has a database of images for various prescription drugs.

      Click the "Pill Identifier" link. You can find this link on the main navigation bar across the top of your screen.

      Agree to the terms and conditions by clicking the "I agree" button.

      Locate the "Search by Drug Name" text box and enter Ambien CR into the text box. Click search.

      View the image of Ambien CR and compare it to the pill that you are trying to identify. The Ambien CR pill should be circular, orange, and have an "A~" symbol imprinted on it.
