Storing your photos in a convenient place can be easily done with an SD card. Carry it from destination to destination by quickly tossing the card into your pocket, purse or backpack. Most digital cameras come with an editing program to make your photos look their best. Kodak also provides users with an Easyshare program for this same purpose. It's easy to learn how to copy pictures from Easyshare to an SD card.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Easyshare application
  • SD card
  • Pictures
  1. Step 1

Launch the Easyshare application by clicking the Desktop icon or going through the Start menu and selecting "All Programs." After a few seconds, the program will open and be available for you to work with. If there are a large number of photos stored, it may take a few minutes more to open and load each picture fully.

  2. Step 2

Click a folder to view its stored pictures. Select the ones you'd like to copy to your SD card from the Easyshare application. Within a folder, hold down the "Ctrl" key and click each photo you'd like to transfer. You'll also be able to select all the photos for transfer by holding the "Ctrl" key and pressing the letter "A" on the keyboard as well.

  3. Step 3

Choose the "Copy To" icon located at the top of the Easyshare page. Within a few seconds, a "Copy To" box will appear for you to click. Select "Removable Media" because this is where your SD card storage will be. Pick a folder on your SD card to store these images or click the "Make New Folder" button.

  4. Step 4

Customize the settings of the photos by choosing one of two options at the bottom. Select either "Best For Picture Frame" or "Full Size" to resize your transferred photos automatically. Click "OK" to begin the process of copying pictures from Easyshare to an SD card.

  5. Step 5

Watch the transfer process to monitor its current status. If you've chosen a large number of photos, this step will take longer to complete. As each image copies itself, the percentage and photo will appear in the pop-up box.

  6. Step 6

Open the SD card to view the pictures on it. This can be done by clicking the "Computer" link on your Desktop and selecting the appropriate drive for your SD card. Navigate to the folder containing the images to view them.

Tips & Warnings
