Open the casing and attach the new drive to the second cable to make the new drive a "slave" to the primary drive. If you have SATA, then no jumpers are needed. If you use IDE as a cable for your hard drive, then you will need to ensure the jumpers are correct to make the old drive the primary and the new drive the slave. Follow the diagram that is printed on the hard drive to achieve this jumper setting.

4
Turn the computer back on. The system should boot from the CD tray. If it does not, then you will need access BIOS to set it to boot from the CD first. Upon start-up, press "del" to enter BIOS, and go to "boot order" in the setting to change the first boot device to CD-ROM.

Follow the menu in EASEUS once booted up into the software. Select the button in the onscreen menu labeled "start disk copy," and then follow the on-screen steps of choosing the source partition, which will be your old drive, and the target drive, which will be your new drive where the source partition will be copied. Once complete, the disk has been cloned. Turn off the computer, remove the old drive and put the new drive in its place. If you use IDE, place the jumper on the new drive as primary. If you use SATA, no adjustment is needed.
