Step 1
Go to the website Scrapblog or another Web-based scrapbooking service (see Resources below).
-
Step 2
For example, on Scrapblog, create a user profile by clicking on "Sign Up" on the upper right hand corner and filling in the appropriate fields. (Instructions throughout will be similar on the other sites.) Remember to create a user name and password that you'll be able to remember in the future; write it down on a piece of paper for reference purposes.
-
Step 3
Once you've created your profile, click the "Create New" button.
-
Step 4
Choose whether you'd like to make a page from a template or from scratch.
-
Step 5
Click the "Add Photos" button to get photos from your computer to use on your page. Place them where you'd like them to be on your page. Simply drag and drop them onto your work surface.
-
Step 6
Choose "Get Backgrounds" to choose from an array of graphic backgrounds for your photos, as in conventional paper scrapbooking. Drag the one you want into your work surface.
-
Step 7
Choose "Get Stickers" to add fun embellishments to your page. You can also use "Get Frames" to frame your photos, and even "Add Text" to make titles and journal entries for your scrapbook page. Arrange them by dragging and dropping around the scrapbook page.
-
Step 8
When you've finished your page click "File" and choose "Save." You can then chose to either turn your page into a book by adding a new page(s) or publishing your page online to share with family or friends.
