1
Wipe the wine glasses inside and out with the glass cleaner. You can dampen a paper towel and wipe the glass down. This will get rid of any dirt or dust that might interfere with your painting.
-
2
Tape a piece of clip art to the inside of the wine glass. You will use this as a pattern for your painting. You should start out with a fairly large, but simple design. As you get used to painting the wine glasses, you can get more elaborate. If you are using more than one design, cut out each and tape it individually so that it lies flat against the inside of the glass.

3
Paint the wine glass using the glass paints. Follow the design on the clip art to paint your image on the wine glass. You should rinse your brush before each color change, then blot it on the paper towel before dipping it in a new color. This will keep your glass paint from running.

4
Allow your wine glass to dry for 24 hours. Keep the wine glass in a warm, dry place while it dries, and do not touch it. Once it dries, you will have a beautiful, decorative wine glass to enjoy.
