How to Install a Curved Shower Rod
It's so annoying to try to take a shower while scrunched up inside a small space. This is definitely the case for people who are very tall. Even though it may not be possible to enlarge your shower space permanently, that doesn't mean you cannot add more space. Curved shower rods are a great option for those who need more bending and stretching room. They are affordable and can be easily installed with very little time. Does this Spark an idea?
Things You'll Need

1
Measure the space that you will be working with. The curtain should hang high enough so that it extends over the edge of the tub at least 5 to 7 inches. If you are hanging the curtain in a shower space only, measure the curtain so that it drapes perfectly vertical. Measure 2 to 3 inches closer to the inside than you would a normal straight shower rod.

2
Mark the spot with a pencil where you will attach the first bracket. Measure from that pencil spot up to the ceiling, and then, from the same spot, measure inside to the corner of the wall. This will give you the exact dimension to mark the second spot on the opposite side.

Holding the bracket in one hand, drill the screw into the wall with a power drill and Phillips drill bit, attaching the bracket securely with the other hand.
If you are using anchors, mark the spots where the holes need to be and use the appropriate drill bit to make the holes. Then, with a hammer, place the anchors into the wall.
Hold each bracket up to the wall so that the hole on the bracket and the predrilled hole in the wall match up. Screw the bracket to the wall. -

Apply the curved rod to the brackets according to the packaging instructions.
