When you have leftover chicken from the night before it may be time to create a chicken Parmesan sandwich. It is very simple to make and usually requires items that you already have in your kitchen. There are many different combinations that can be utilized when making this sandwich: the chicken can be whole or sliced, the cheese can be Parmesan, provolone or mozzarella, and the bread can be French, Kaiser or whatever you have in the kitchen. Things You'll Need

  • One 3 oz. chicken breast, already cooked
  • ¼ cup of tomato sauce
  • Two slices of provolone cheese
  • ½ oz. of Parmesan cheese
  • Sandwich roll
  • Baking sheet

Instructions

    • 1

      Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

      Slice the roll in half lengthwise. Place the two roll halves on the baking sheet and toast for three minutes.

      Spread tomato sauce on both pieces of the roll.

      Place chicken on one roll half. Place remaining tomato sauce on top of the chicken breast.

      Add provolone to the top of the chicken breast. Add Parmesan cheese on the top of the provolone.

      Cook sandwich three more minutes to allow the cheese to melt.

      Place one half of sandwich on the other half to complete the sandwich. Serve and eat.
