How to Design Your Own Name Place Cards
Designing your own name place cards is a fun and traditional way to decorate for an elegant dinner party or festive occasion. For each guest attending your party, you will put a custom name card at the table. This will not only help you organize the seating and the menus, but it allows the guests to know where to sit when the meal is ready to be served. Type the guests' names into the document, allowing at least 1 inch between each name. When you are finished typing in the names, you can edit the font type, size, and color by using the text adjusters at the top of the screen. Highlight the text you would like to change, and then select the new font type, color, or sizing. The text will automatically change to the selected style. If you would like to undo a particular font style that you changes, simply click "Edit" at the top of the screen, then click "Undo" from the drop down list.

Print out the name cards onto your printer by clicking "File" at the top of the screen, then selecting "Print Preview" from the list. The screen will change to show you what the final printout will look like. If you are satisfied, click the printer icon located at the top left-hand side of the screen.

Tips & Warnings
If you use a heavier weight card stock, your place cards will be sturdier.
