You can easily repaint your metal furniture at home using spray paint. This is a popular application for patio pieces that you can do yourself.   • Drop cloth
  • Coarse and fine grit sandpaper

  1. Step 1

    Cover your work area with the drop cloth.

    Use coarse sandpaper to remove any rust from the surface of the furniture you plan to paint.
