How to Download Movies From BitTorrent

BitTorrent offers a large selection of media that can be downloaded at a faster rate than most P2P programs. Since BitTorrent is so reliable and fast, it is a great application for downloading movies. Also, downloading movies from BitTorrent is the easiest way to back up your DVD collection. No more waiting a few days for a download to complete. BitTorrent has all the latest titles that are DVD and even Blu-Ray quality. Follow these steps to add to your movie collection.

Instructions

1. Go to the Torrentz website (see Resources for a link). This is a search engine for torrent files. Type in the name of the movie that you want to download.

2. Choose the file which has the highest seed to leech ratio. Seeds are the number of people uploading the file and leeches are the number of people downloading the file. The ratio will depend on how popular the movie is with people.

3. Choose the torrent download location. Minova, The Pirate Bay and Btmon are all reliable sites.

4. Click the link that says "Download This Torrent." Open the download with your BitTorrent client. Visit the BitTorrent site and download the latest BitTorrent program if you do not have it. The bit torrent client is what the file is actually downloaded in.

5. Monitor your download by looking at the number of seeds. If there are no seeds or if the progress is slow, then go back to Torrentz and download the file from a different location. The download will be completed once it has reached 100 percent.
