How to Clean Brass Faucets
Brass faucets are the centerpiece to any bathroom or kitchen area. They are useful for washing hands, brushing teeth as well as cleaning dishes. The faucets are in operation the most out of any other appliance. Thus, they can become grimy and dirty quite frequently. After washing your hands or cleaning dishes, you need to turn the water off. Purchase brass cleaner. These include Weiman Brass Cleaner, Siege Chemical Instant Brass Polish and Cleaner or Twinkle Brass & Copper Cleaner.

Fill the spray bottle with hot water. Use the brass faucet sprayer or the spray bottle to rinse off the faucet. Soak the faucet, removing any dirt caught in the cracks.

Rub the brass faucet with the sponge. Clean any extra grime from the corners or around the faucet knobs.

Squeeze out all the water from the sponge. Dip the sponge in the brass cleaning cream. Extract a small amount. Pour a drop of cleaner on the sponge or spray three or four squirts on the brass faucet if applicable.

Wipe the brass faucets. Clean the head and underneath. Wash in between the hot and cold knobs. Pay close at the cracks at the base of the brass faucet.

Use the spray nozzle or the bottle to rinse off the faucet. Saturate the entire area and let the residue drain into the sink.

Dry the brass faucet with the rag. This will remove any surplus of cleaning solution as well as left-on grime. Drying the faucet will also prevent watermarks or spots.
