How to Make a Recent Search Go Away on a Mac
There are times when one member of a family will not want other members to know about a recent search he has performed on their shared Mac. For example, if a husband is looking for Valentine's gifts for his wife, he would not want her to stumble upon the search before she receives the gift. Similarly, if a mother is planning a vacation for her children, she won't want for them to see what she is looking for in the search history. Most searches on a Mac are done in either Safari or Firefox Web browsers, and each can be cleared of recent activity.
