Creating a birthday card for dad is easy and lots of fun for the kids. Making a card instead of purchasing it will also make the card special for dad. Here are some steps to making a great birthday card for dad.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Card stock paper
  • Markers
  • Scissors
  • Family pictures
  1. Step 1

Determine with your child what theme or object accurately represents the relationship with dad. If your child relates golfing with dad, create a card around a golf theme.

  2. Step 2

Take card stock and fold it in half. At this point, let your child either cut out shapes for the card or draw on the card to represent the desired theme. Some characters may be easier to draw than to cut out.

  3. Step 3

On the inside of the card, place pictures of dad with the kids. Write a message to dad on the inside as well to make it personal.

  4. Step 4

Write "Happy Birthday, Dad" on the inside or outside of the card.

  5. Step 5

Keep in mind the child is making this card for dad, so let the kids create their own masterpiece. Dad won't care if it is perfect; he will care that it was made with love.
