How to Save an XLS File as a PDF?
XLS files are documents created in a spreadsheet program called Excel, which is manufactured by Microsoft. While it is a powerful program, the average user is unlikely to use or have access to it. Portable Document Format (PDF) files are a format in which to convert Excel files into a document that is viewable by almost anyone with a PDF reader program. Several programs exist to create and view PDF files, although the most popular, Adobe Acrobat, comes from Adobe Systems. Programs designed to read PDF files are usually free of charge, but PDF writing programs are available at a cost. Once you decide on the software, saving XLS documents as PDF files is a simple process.
