How to Draw a Skate Ramp
Many people automatically think that they can't draw. However, drawing is something that everyone can learn to do; they just need to approach it properly. If you think about drawing as creating a whole picture, that can be pretty daunting. But instead think of it as a series of lines that are connected together. Creating the parts and then combining them to make a finished picture is the way anybody can learn to draw. Using these mechanics can make drawing skate ramps a simple and enjoyable process.

1
Draw the bottom half of a circle in the middle of your page. You can use a protractor for a more perfect drawing.
-
2
Draw the top section of the ramp where the skateboarders would stand before dropping into the halfpipe by making ½-by-3-inch rectangles from each of the left and right tips of the half circle you created in step 1. These two rectangles should be set at 45-degree angles, tilted toward the middle of the page.

3
Extend a horizontal line down the length of the half circle by drawing a 3-inch vertical line on each side of the ramp. The starting points will be the left and right bottom points of each of the rectangles you made in step 2. There will be four total vertical lines made in this step; each set of two will be closed at the bottom to create a rectangle. Make sure the the lines only go down to the lowest point of the half circle you created in step 1.
-
4
Connect the rectangles from step 3 to the half circle from step 1 by extending a horizontal line from the bottom inside points of the rectangle to the border of the half circle.
-
5
Locate the upper inside points of the two rectangles you created in step 2. You will need to make another half circle to finish the 3-D image by placing one in between the two points. The half circle can be as big or as you small as you want depending on how much of a slope you want to give the halfpipe.

6
Add personal touches to your skate ramp by placing your own logo designs in the center of the ramp, or drawing someone performing a skateboard trick on the ramp.
