  1. Removing Watercolor Paint Stains

      Check the label on the watercolor paints. This may give some specific information about effectively removing the stain. Look for the word "washable." This appears on many kids' paints and indicates that the stain should come out quickly and easily.

      Squirt a pea-sized amount of liquid laundry detergent onto a damp, clean sponge. Gently blot at the stain with the detergent. Blot the stain from both sides of the fabric.
