How to Dress as a Flapper for Halloween

During Halloween, many woman choose to wear revealing clothing. But what if you don't want to dress like a Playboy bunny, or a sassy school girl? You can still look cute in a tasteful costume. Dressing like a flapper is a classy way to stand out at a Halloween party.

Things You'll Need

• Fringe dress
• Heels
• Fishnet stockings
• Long gloves
• Sparkly headband
• Pearl necklace
• Feather boa
• Cigarette holder
• Red lipstick
• Mascara
• Eyeliner

Instructions

1. Dress the part. Wear a fringe dress and black fishnet stockings. If you don't care for fishnets, wear sheer black tights instead. Slip on a pair of high heels.

2. Accessorize your outfit. Put on a pair of long satin gloves that match your dress. Wrap a headband with sequins around your head. Consider applying a feather to the headband with a hot glue gun. Wear a long string of pearls tied in a knot around the bottom.

3. Add the finishing touches. Wear a feather boa and carry a long cigarette holder. Costume shops sell cigarette holders decorated with sequins.

4. Put on your makeup. Apply red lipstick, black eyeliner and heavy mascara. For a more extreme look, apply fake lashes.
