How to Make Table Decorations for Weddings

Wedding table decorations are among the more beautiful aspects of a wedding. Next to the bride's dress and the flower arrangements, the table decorations and centerpieces, make a statement. The tone and theme of a wedding can be found on the table. Whether it is the colors, the flowers, the table cloths or the candle holders, the table decorations can convey your wedding sentiment.

Things You'll Need

• Candles
• Crystal Bowl
• Floating candles
• 7 shallow glass dishes
• Flower petals

Instructions

1. Fill a large clear bowl, preferably crystal, with water. Put the bowl in the center of the table.

2. Lay rose-shaped floating candles on the top of the water in pastel colors. Light the candles and let them float during dinner.

3. Place an assortment of decorative candles around the bowl. Use seven candles, all different heights. Keep the candles all the same color or use only small color variations.

4. Pick up the seven candles and place each one into a shallow glass dish. Make sure to keep the position of the candles around the center bowl.

5. Fill each shallow dish with flower petals. Arrange the petals evenly around the candles. Scatter the same flower petals on the tables around the dishes.

• Wedding decorations can be as simple as placing small glass bowls of dinner mints around the table. It is your wedding. You can dress up your table to look anyway you want it to look.

• Do not overcrowd your wedding table. More is not always better.
