How to Set Up a Godaddy Website
Every day, more than 1,000 new websites make their debut on the world wide web. A vast majority of those new sites are created, owned and operated by people who don't know much (or anything) about html, css or web design of any kind. One simple way for novices to set up their own website is to do it at godaddy.com.
Instructions

Creating Your Website
-
1
Purchase a domain name at Godaddy. Your domain name is the web address of your new website and is what visitors will type into their address bar to visit your website.
-
2
Purchase a hosting plan. This means that you'll be paying a company to "host" (store) your website's pages and files on their servers (computers).
-
-
3
Purchase a website building plan. Godaddy offers a simple plan for beginners, called "Website Tonight."
-
4
Create your website using the templates provided by Website Tonight. Building is simple and self explanatory. Simply choose the color scheme you want, any Flash animation you want and add your own photos and text by clicking the appropriate boxes.
Making Your Site Live on the Internet
-
5
Log into your Website Tonight account and click the "Manage" menu tab.
-
6
Click "Publish" to publish the page you are currently working on, or choose "Publish All" if this is your first time to publish any part of your website.
-
7
Select "Publish Updates" if you have already published the page but have added changes. For instance, if you have published your website but noticed a typo on one of the pages, you can edit it, then click "Publish Updates" to make the corrected version appear online.
