How to Make Your Own Rock 'N' Roll Clothes
The rocker look, popular with celebrities in the 1980s, can be created by modifying existing clothing using the methods described here. Things You'll Need
- Fabric Marking Pen
- Metal Studs
- Denim Jacket
- Pliers
- Fabric Paint
- Razor Blades
- Denim Jeans
- Sink or Tub
- Safety Glasses
- Bleach
- Washing Machine
- Dryer

Use fabric pen to mark where to place metal studs on your jacket. Push prongs on back of studs through fabric. Bend prongs toward stud center with pliers.

Paint designs on your jacket randomly using fabric paint. Allow to dry thoroughly. Set jacket aside.

Use razor blade to make cuts across the knee area of both legs of your jeans. Cut more holes and slashes on the front and back of jeans.

Place jeans in sink or tub. Put on safety glasses. Splash jeans with bleach.

Place jeans in washing machine. Run for a minimum of three cycles, until desired amount of fraying at cuts is obtained.

Dry jeans thoroughly.
