How to Pair a Jabra Bluetooth Headset

Jabra is the name of a corporation that was bought out by GN Corporation in 2000. The acquirement of Jabra strengthened GN's position as a global provider of communication devices for the hands-free environment. The Jabra name is in products for familiarity and respect to the merger of the corporations. In 2005, GN created the first Jabra headset that would function with Bluetooth technology for hands-free communication. At this time, Jabra is considered the first and foremost provider for hands-free communication. Learn how to pair a Jabra Bluetooth headset based on having Bluetooth installed on your computer.

Instructions

1. Turn on your Bluetooth device on your computer.

2. Click "Start," then choose "Control Panel."

3. Double-click on your Bluetooth icon and go to the "Setup" option. It will open up a wizard.

4. Walk through the wizard. In it you will need to place your Jabra Bluetooth headset into a finding/transmitting mode. You will hold down the button on the Jabra headset until it is blinking a solid green.

5. Click "Next" when it is time for finding any Bluetooth devices in the area. This will then find your Jabra headset because it was set up in the previous step.

6. Click "Next" once the devices are paired, and use the headset at anytime.

Tips & Warnings

• If your computer loses Bluetooth signal to the headset, re-sync the headset via the step process again.

• Bluetooth is a line-of-sight computer component. If the Jabra device is not within the line-of-sight limits of the Bluetooth device, both devices will become unpaired.
