How to Heal Your Thyroid With Energy Medicines

Energy medicine is a field of alternative holistic healing methods, and shifts the patterns of subtle energies that are underlying causes of illness. 1. 

   Apply qigong practices for thyroid healing. Qigong (chee gung) is an ancient Chinese healing system that emphasizes gentle movement exercises. Thyroid treatment with qigong uses movement, breath and visualization to promote energy balance and strength in the endocrine system. In qi emission sessions, a qigong specialist emits energy from his hands into acupuncture points, creating balance in the thyroid and the endocrine system..

   Apply reiki healing to the throat chakra, which is associated with the thyroid gland. A reiki healer places her hands on the throat and collarbone. The practitioner clears energy for females by rotating her hands to the left; for males, hands are rotated to the right. A healthy aura that eminates from this region is either light blue or turquoise with silver.

   Use light therapy to establish endocrine balance. Regulated exposure to sunlight or artificial light offers healing benefits for thyroid conditions (see Additional Resources). LED light therapy is applied to the thyroid area to increase the gland's activity. Do not place light directly on the thyroid gland, as it is close to the skin's surface. A healer places LED light over a light-impermeable cover.

   Heal with the natural magnetic flow. For thyroid treatment, a qualified magnet therapy healer applies the shiny side of a magnet to the thyroid, holding it in place with surgical tape. The negative side of the magnet is used for healing the body; the positive pole must not be applied to the body.
