Download your converter software. You can download "Leap Free All to AVI MPEG4 WMV MOV FLASH Converter 3.9" for free (see Resources). Once you download and install, you will be ready to convert your files. Installation is quick and easy. Just open the file after downloading and follow the prompts to install.

Select your output format. The pull-down menu for the format is in the upper right-hand corner of the screen. Just pull down and choose AVI.

Choose your destination. Destination is listed at the bottom of the screen. Click the "Browse..." button and choose the folder where you want your files to go once converted.

Check the box next to "Show output media file when done" if you want the folder with the converted file to open automatically. You can also check a box if you would like the computer to automatically shut down when it is finished converting.

Click the 'Add' button at the top of the page. It is marked by a green plus sign and says "Add" right on it. It will open your browser. Browse for your file and double-click it.

Click "Convert." It is at the top of the screen near the "Add" button. Once the conversion is done, you will get a message letting you know the process is complete.
