Install a Motorola Surfboard Cable Modem

Motorola created a cable modem line called Surfboard that is inexpensive in bulk. The Surfboard takes the existing cable connection from a cable splitter and transmits information at a data level that the computer can understand. The installation process is very simple and requires no software to initialize your modem. You'll just need to connect the hardware and make a quick call to the technical support service of your cable Internet provider to get Internet activated.
