How to Change a Name on a Texas Driver License
Changing your name on a Texas driver's license is required within 30 days of a name change. All you need to change your name on your driver's license is to visit a Texas Department of Safety's Driver License Office with the correct documents and pay a small fee. The Driver License Office will then mail you a new license and give you a temporary license to use in the mean time.
